This page serves the purpose of improving the quality of services and access to Deaf, Deaf-Blind and Hard of Hearing people in Rhode Island. This is also the place where you can become an advocate on your own behalf. RI CDHH wants to ensure that Deaf and Hard of Hearing people's rights are protected and that the quality of services and access are equal to or better than the requirements of federal and state laws.
Also, you may want to contact RI CDHH and/or Governor's Commission on Disabilities and/or RI Disability Law Center to conduct the mediation between you and the party to find resolutions on your behalf.
