Educational Training & Needs Assessment Request Form

At no cost to you and your company or organization(1), the EPCAP office provides cultural competence and awareness training on Deaf and Hard of Hearing (D/HH) and its’ language, culture and community. As required under the American with Disabilities Act of 1990, our educational training and needs assessment program focuses on how you can communicate and interact with Deaf, Deaf-Blind, and Hard of Hearing persons effectively, and to provide “reasonable accommodations” to accommodate the D/D-B/HH person’s communication needs at public places, workplaces, and in emergencies. Upon request, we also can provide a needs assessment report (to give recommendations on how you and your entity can be readily accessible to Deaf and Hard of Hearing people) after our visit at your site.
