If you as a consumer or paying party have complaint about a Rhode Island licensed interpreter/transliterator such as:

  1. a violation of the Code of Ethics
  2. harm done due to inaccurate interpreting
  3. an unqualified interpreter

You may report to:

The Board of Examiners Interpreters for the Deaf under the Rhode Island Department of Health is the appropriate point of contact regarding complaints about an interpreter/transliterator's service.

Concerns about the service received by a paying party or a consumer can be directed to:

Paying parties and consumers are also encouraged to make any concerns known to the interpreter referral specialist of RI CDHH for a particular assignment.

And/or you may want to send your complaint/concerns through interpreter's professional certification organizations.
