Healthcare Committee
- RI General Law § 23-1.8-3 (4) – Establishment of Healthcare committee.
- Report to the Board of Commissioners.
Purpose:
- To identify statewide Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing Education issues and challenges and to seek viable and innovative solutions at the statewide systematic level.
- To make recommendations to the Board of Commissioners for actions. Examples: Systematic or policy change; Introduce legislation bills for DHH children’s language acquisition and development.
