Build A Kit

After an emergency, you may need to survive on your own for several days. Building an emergency supply kit helps to ensure that you have the essential items needed to stay safe and healthy during a disaster. It is recommended that you prepare enough supplies for at least 72 hours (3 days) for each person in your household.

Store emergency kits in locations you frequent such as your home, workplace, and your vehicle, so they are easily accessible when needed. Keep your supplies in a cool, dry place and review your kit annually to replace expired items and update supplies based on your family’s current needs.
